Basic First Aid Training for Community School Teachers at Thilawa SEZ
Thilawa, March 24
On 24 March 2026, Thilawa SEZ organized a one-day Basic First Aid Training program for community school teachers at BEHS (Branch) Aye Mya Thida.
The program aimed to equip participants with essential first-aid knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively to emergencies—both in school settings and daily life. By the end of the training, teachers gained confidence in managing accidents, injuries, and sudden health conditions, contributing to a safer school environment and developing valuable life-saving skills.
The sessions were conducted by experienced members of the Myanmar Red Cross Society, representing the Yangon Region Office and the Thanlyin District Office. A total of 32 teachers from surrounding community schools completed the training and received official certificates of completion.
This initiative reflects Thilawa SEZ’s commitment to supporting community development and promoting safety in schools. By empowering teachers with first-aid knowledge, the program not only strengthens emergencies but also fosters care and responsibility that benefits students, families, and the wider community.
