Roofing Repair of School Building and New Walkway Installation Completed at BEPS Kayat

Thilawa Special Economic Zone (TSEZ) has completed the school infrastructure development program at BEPS Kayat (Thida Myaing Ward), Kyauk Tan Township, to enhance educational facilities and improve access to quality education for the children in communities surrounding the TSEZ, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
The school building roofing repair works and installation of a new walkway benefit more than 192 primary students from KG to Grade 5 by supporting their day-to-day learning and long-term academic development. The project was successfully completed on 12 October 2025 at a total cost of MMK 37,900,000, under the supervision of the MJTD Construction and Maintenance Team and the Community Relations Department.
The Thilawa SEZ continues its commitment to promoting inclusive and equitable education by providing a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment for students in the surrounding TSEZ communities.
